Do you have a long commute? Many of us spend hours each day trekking to and from work. It takes me anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes to get travel each way to work depending on the traffic load, number of accidents, and weather. Money management site mint.com recently released an informative infographic highlighting the worst commutes in the United States.
Below is the list of the top 10 ranking of the worst traffic cities based on the number of hours commuters spend in traffic delays each year:
1. Chicago, IL: 70 hours
2. Washington, DC: 70 hours
3. Los Angeles, CA: 63 hours
4. Houston, TX: 58 hours
5. Baltimore, MD: 50 hours
6. San Francisco, CA: 49 hours
7. Boston, MA: 48 hours
8. Dallas, TX: 48 hours
9. Denver, CO: 47 hours
10. Atlanta, GA: 44 hours
